This obverse features a perfect die, with no discernable flaws or die markers. It has a level date, its position nearly identical to the branch mint proof die, but does not have the diagnostic die chip at the pole as does the branch mint proof die.

Reverse A

The branch mint proof die, with the diagonal die line on the reverse, and the left serif on T and lower left serif on S in CENTS are separated from the rest of their respective letters.

Comments: By the end of this die marriage the reverse die is starting to wear out. There is some weakness present in the lower right lettering. This is the only use of this obverse die, and the third use of this reverse die.

Scarcity: Appears to be a very scarce die marriage. Rarity rating: R-4.
